Tall Troll Games OÜ (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in Tallinn, Estonia, is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect in Untraveled Lands: Chantico, how it is used, and your choices regarding this data.

We collect anonymous gameplay data to help us understand how players interact with the game and to improve the gameplay experience. This data includes:
- Session Data: Start and end time, session duration.
- Gameplay Events: Quest progress, combat outcomes, character losses, crafting actions.
- Resource Management: Food collection, resource usage, construction and crafting.
- Game State: Save/load actions, use of in-game menus and interfaces.
We do not collect personal data such as names, emails, IP addresses, or account information. All data is stored in aggregate and is not linked to any individual player.
2. Why We Collect This Data
We use this data to:
- Improve game balance and pacing.
- Detect technical issues such as crashes or errors.
- Analyze game flow and pacing to refine user experience.
- Identify potential bugs and optimize game performance.
All collected data is used solely for internal development purposes and is not shared with external parties.
3. Third-Party Analytics Tools
We use Unity Analytics, a service provided by Unity Technologies, to collect gameplay data. Unity may collect some limited device information, such as:
- Device model and operating system version.
- Country or region (generalized, not specific location).

4. Data Access and Deletion
Since we do not collect or store personal data, we do not provide access, modification, or deletion requests for specific user data. The data collected is fully anonymized and cannot be associated with any specific player.

5. Opting Out of Data Collection
You can choose to opt out of gameplay data collection at any time:
- Upon first launch, you will be prompted to Accept or Decline data collection.
- You can change this preference later in the Settings > Privacy menu.
If you choose to decline data collection, no gameplay data will be sent to our servers.
6. Data Storage and Security
All gameplay data is stored in aggregate and used only for internal analysis and game development purposes.
Data is retained for a limited period (typically 12–24 months) and is then deleted or anonymized further.
We take appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access or misuse of the data.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in data practices or applicable laws.
When we do, we will update the “Effective Date” at the top of this document.
Significant changes will be announced via in-game notifications or on our website.
